The parties are on separate weekends. Can't take siblings to the skating one, but can to the one at the house. Still need to obtain babysitter for the skate party. Will try and remember to take pics of parking on the lawn. LOL I finally just went ahead and called to ask the parent what was acceptable ... which probably wasn't an acceptable move, but oh well. I'd say the best thing to do is call both and see which one will let you bring the other children and go to that one.<br /><br />No you're not obliged to buy Power Rangers. Young kids don't know the difference between a dollar and quarter. Give a quarter for each year and a banana and they will be ecstatic.<br /><br />If so, do we buy them both the same exact gift so they don't fight? Make sure the bananas are the same size.<br /><br />The classmate likes PowerRangers but am I obligated to buy those hideous things or can I get, say, an educational book or something fun like finger paints and playdoh? ALWAYS get what you like. I hate Power Rangers. My kids will never get them.<br /><br />Is it rude to give gifts that you know the parent won't like the kid having? You are paying for them. It's rude to be so specific to ask for something from someone else.<br /><br />Can I park on the lawn when all the slots on the driveway are taken? If you do, please take pictures.<br /><br />Can I eat more than one piece of cake? I ALWAYS do.
